Northwestern Memorial HealthCare was recently recognized with the Alliance for Work-Life Progress (AWLP) 2013 Work-Life Seal of Distinction. This designation recognizes employers, in both the private and public sector, who demonstrate leadership in workplace strategies and practices to help employees achieve success in work-life effectiveness. Northwestern Memorial was among 54 organizations nationwide to receive the seal of distinction; it was one of only three institutions in Illinois recognized.
“At Northwestern Memorial, we strive to help employees balance professional and personal responsibilities through a variety of benefits and programs,” said Dean L. Manheimer, senior vice president of human resources at Northwestern Memorial. “The distinction recognizes our commitment to work-life initiatives and highlights the many workplace policies, programs, and practices that support our working families.”
